The Mary Ann Mason Lecture Series was established by her family to honor Mary Ann Mason’s many contributions to the Berkeley community—as a scholar, teacher, colleague, and the first woman Dean of the Graduate Division. The lectures are dedicated to bringing a variety of perspectives on the subjects—women, family and children—to which she was devoted.
